Senior Trip
What is a Senior Trip? It is an opportunity for the seniors to have one last activity together before they graduate. It is kind of like an extended field trip. It is educational, but at the same time it is fun. The educational part is not book learning, but more of a cultural and/or historical education.
We have been offering a senior trip at the end of the year for the graduating seniors. In the past we have gone to New York City, Washington D.C., or both. I have been directing the trip since its inception. I am the travel coordinator, tour guide, and chaperone. I try to modify the trip each year to fit the desires of this year's seniors. They just have to be willing to tell me what they want--ahead of time.
The seniors and the parents will decide the location and the price of the trip, obviously with administrative approval. We do some fundraising to help the seniors raise the money for the trip. Any money obtained by fundraising must go to the trip.
We are in the process of deciding where we will be going and how much money we have to raise. The following payment schedule is from a previous year.
