Open Enrollment Is Now Closed

      This is my 14th year teaching and my 6th year at Legacy High School. I have a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Florida State University. I previously taught middle school band in Orange and Lake Counties and have taught Leadership, Music Wheel and Guitar here at Hope/Legacy. I stepped out of full time teaching for a while to raise our children, all three of which started Kindergarten at Hope and graduated from Legacy. Kenzie has a BSN from Advent University, Abigail has a BSN from UCF and Josh is working on a Business degree at UNF. My husband, Kevin, and I have been happily married for 28 years and are enjoying being empty nesters. Over the years I have volunteered with a local homeless ministry, directed the children's program at a family camp in Blue Ridge and taught Bible lessons for Children's Worship.

     I am excited to be teaching guitar and band this year. I am passionate about students learning music and gaining the skills they need to connect with others and impact the world around them.
