About Me

My name is Roxanne Marsh and the 2021-2022 school-year will be my 20th year teaching at Hope Charter School. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Exceptional Student Education. I am also certified in Elementary Education and I have an endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESOL). I began my teaching career in Osceola County teaching grades K-5 at the elementary level.  After moving to Orange County, I began teaching at Hope Charter. During my time at Hope Charter, I've taught English language arts, math, social skills and other subjects at the elementary, middle school and early high school levels. I have served students in a resource room setting and have had experience co-teaching classes with general education teachers. I have also partnered with general education teachers to monitor and consult about students who have transitioned to the general education classroom on a full-time basis. My experience and dedication to teaching students with special needs has enabled me to provide tailored instruction in various instructional settings. It is a passion of mine to help my students acquire academic knowledge and to develop independent learning strategies to achieve classroom success.

A little more about me, I've been married 17 years and together we have a daughter who is a student at Hope Charter. My family recently adopted two kittens who have kept us busy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, rollerblading, biking and shopping.
