About Me

I was born in Palatka, Florida, and due to my father’s job, we moved about every two years. After graduating from high school, I worked and traveled for approximately five years before deciding to pursue a degree in Math Education.

During my senior year, I met my husband, and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior. Our family now includes our dogs Bear and Gunnie. My husband and I are extremely excited for we are soon to be grandparents.

After graduating from UCF, I decided to pursue a degree in Curriculum Assessment in Education using Technology since the new generation is so tech savvy. As fast as technology changes, it is a continuous learning process to keep up with this generation and future generations to come.

I am fortunate to say that I have taught math for twenty-one years before joining the MTSS team at Hope in 2015.

By God's grace, I hope to continue enjoying family, teaching, traveling, and animals. All helps keep me young at heart. I am looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year.
