Hi!  My name is Maureen Mannion and I have been teaching at Hope Charter since 2002 and Legacy High since it opened. I started teaching in 2nd and 3rd grades and added Debate when the High School opened. I eventually "graduated" to teach completely at the High School and added Honors English to the debate and speech courses. I retired in 2017, but continued teaching in a substitute capacity until 2019, when I came back part time to again teach speech and debate and act as debate coach for the school team.

I am married and have 8 children and 12 grandchildren, of which four have attended Hope and Legacy. I really enjoy Speech and Debate activities and facilitating them for students is a labor of love. I look forward to meeting and getting to know everone this year!
