Open Enrollment is now Closed

My name is Katherine Barnard, and this is my 6th year teaching at Hope Charter/Legacy High School. In addition to my teaching role I am also the Varsity Softball Head Coach. This year will be my 9th season with the softball program.

I was born and raised in Central Florida, a graduate of West Orange High School, and a graduate of the University of Central Florida where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sports & Fitness. Prior to teaching at Hope/Legacy I worked in the real estate industry for 10 years.

I am married to my wonderful husband Gary and together we have 3 boys. Wyatt and Kevin will being their high school career this year, while Matthew is starting his junior year, all at Legacy. Our 4th child is a 100 lb Bluetick Coonhound named Smokey. As a family we enjoy being active, being outdoors, Sunday dinners with our extended family, and anything that involves water.
