Roxanne Marsh

Elementary ESE Teacher

When teaching, I focus on individual needs and teach primarily through direct instruction.  I am a Resource Room Teacher and work with elementary students in the Exceptional Student Education Program. If you would like to contact me, feel free to email me or leave a message with the front office and I will return your call at my earliest convenience.

Homework/Discipline

It is extremely important that all students, parents, and guardians understand the discipline policy so that there will be no confusion or misunderstandings regarding student behavior.

My classroom rules are as follows:

1. Raise your hand to speak.

2. Listen to directions the first time they are given.

3. Respect yourself and others.

4. Quiet down when signal is given.

About Me

My name is Roxanne Marsh and the 2023-2024 school-year will be my 22nd year teaching at Hope Charter School. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Exceptional Student Education. I am also certified in Elementary Education and I have an endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESOL). I began my teaching career in Osceola County teaching grades K-5 at the elementary level.  After moving to Orange County, I began teaching at Hope Charter. During my time at Hope Charter, I've taught English language arts, math, social skills and other subjects at the elementary, middle school and early high school levels. I have served students in a resource room setting and have had experience co-teaching classes with general education teachers. I have also partnered with general education teachers to monitor and consult about students who have transitioned to the general education classroom on a full-time basis. My experience and dedication to teaching students with special needs has enabled me to provide tailored instruction in various instructional settings. It is a passion of mine to help my students acquire academic knowledge and to develop independent learning strategies to achieve classroom success.

A little more about me, I've been married 19 years and together we have a daughter who is a student at Hope Charter. My family recently adopted two kittens who have kept us busy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, rollerblading, biking and shopping.
