Spelling Lists

Throughout the year, your child will be working on learning the 220 Dolch sight words. Every student will have his or her own individualized spelling list.

Each week your child will choose eight words they do not know. This will become their spelling list for the week. This spelling practice ideas link will provide a list you can use at home to practice the words throughout the week. Please do not wait until the last minute to learn these words. Pace yourself and help your child learn at least two words a day. Spelling tests will be given every Friday.
