Google Classroom Links For the 2023-2024 School Year

Welcome Parents and Students!

ATTENTION PARENTS: I will send periodic newsletters and updates about what we are working on in class. Please make sure to fill out the form below to make sure you are on the list!

I'm very excited that we will be working together during this new year to learn all of the exciting concepts in History, Journalism, and Government this year! I will update classwork assignments and other projects on Google Classroom, along with each assignments due date when I announce them in class. Moving forward, our students will get their information and communicate with me using the Google Classroom platform.

Attention parents: If you want to stay up to date with what your students are supposed to be doing, you need to get their login information to Google Classroom. There, you will be able to keep track of running assingments and class requirements. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at phillip.stucky@hopecharter.org.

My name is Phillip Stucky. I taught at Hope my first year of teaching, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. I am from Orlando, and I graduated from Dr. Phillips High School in 2009. Then, I graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in Politics with a concentration on campaigns and elections in 2015. Then, I worked on a presidential campaign in New Hampshire and South Carolina. After that I worked as a journalist covering Capitol Hill, the Supreme Court, and protests as they became more and more prevalent. After that, I worked as Comms Director for a Senate Campaign in Massachusetts.

If you have any questions, feel free to access the Syllabi for my classes on the links to the left. There will be much of the important information. Any materials will be distributed via Google Classroom, and all assignments will be given and turned in through that portal. Please click the links below to add yourself to the correct classroom.

Thank you so much, and I look forward to working together over the next school year!

Phillip
