About Me

Hello, and welcome to fourth grade! My name is Mrs. Chelsea Green and I am excited to be your child’s teacher. I would like to begin by telling you a little about myself.

I have been married for about 3 years and have 3 little “feline fur babies”. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and crafting.  I graduated from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I taught third grade at Hope Christian Academy in Starke, Florida for two years, and this is my second year teaching 4th grade here at Hope Charter School. I have also gained much valuable experience in working with children. I have had the privilege of working as a cabin leader for three summers, working an extended care program for four years, and teaching Children’s art classes. 

I believe parent-teacher communication is key to your student’s success. There are a few methods I will use to communicate with you.  I will be using Classroom DoJo to share your child’s behavior progress and send home day- to-day reminders about upcoming tests and events. It is important that you set up an account with Classroom DoJo so you will be able to view this very important information. I will also periodically send home notes or announcements in the student’s planner. The planner must be signed each day, acknowledging that you have seen it and that your student has completed any assigned homework. You can also contact me through my email.
