Welcome Hope and Legacy Parents/Students,

I am always excited to teach another group of students.  I love the subject and it is great fun for me to spend time with your children.  I require homework be done thoroughly and ready to turn in when class begins.  In class, students will need loose leaf paper, a working dry erase marker, pencils, and a teachable attitude.  When those things run out or wear out please replace them.

Fifty percent of your child’s grade is made up of test scores (including quizzes), 20% is made up of homework, 20% is made up of computer work and the last 10% is for participation.  Participation is based on the percentage of work (computer work also) that is completed (or corrected) to 80% accuracy or above.   Any graded assignment that they do not receive an 80% for can and should be reworked for full credit including IXL’s any time before the last week of each quarter; however, each assignment can only be reworked once. 

Computer homework is mandatory and essential to gain the information needed to go to the next course.  If you do not have a computer or internet access at your home, please contact me.  I will be happy to arrange for a computer to be available every day for 1 hour after school.
