• HW is usually Even's or Odd's
• All math tests are after every 5 Lessons
• All graded papers below an 80% can be corrected on a separate sheet of paper with a parent signature for a better grade. If all mistakes are corrected correctly, the grade will be changed to an 80%.
• Math is one of the few subjects that can be determined most of the time by right or wrong. It is easier to determine strengths and weaknesses through student monitoring. Therefore, I try to give my students an "Exit Slip" that contains 5-10 questions after each lesson taught. These exit slips data allows me to analyze and determine who, what, when, and where these students need help.
• My amazing assistant, Mrs. Benedict, has also been grading HW as another piece of the puzzle to see whether or not your child has been practicing effectively or not. Typically, when HW is not being completed correctly, it's another indicator that their needs to be an intervention with additional help.
