Welcome Parents and Students!

I am so excited to be back at Legacy! This year we are continuing to face challenges and having to adjust as we move along. As I was confident last year in our ability to bend and grow, I am confident yet again that we will all move forward this year stronger and better than ever.

For those of you who don't know me, please call me Mrs. K. I have been teaching since 2011 and I have taught all grade levels from PK2- AP 12th Grade. I have also taught a lot of different subjects (history, science, math, spanish, cooking, yoga, physical education, and of course English Literature), which I love to incorporate in my lessons. I truly love all things literature and in my career I have come to realize how much I enjoy getting students to be able to compose their thoughts in a coherent manner (writing). Last year my goal was to be like the water: tranquility flowing along but being quietly persistent. This year my goal is to be like a bamboo tree: bending and waivering to the storms but standing firm. 

This page is only to point you in the right direction; please know that I will be using Google Classroom as my main source of announcements and posting and grading assignments. Each child will need to post their final assignments on Google Classroom, unless otherwise stated by me.

Parents, you are more than welcome to ask your child for access to his/her Google Classroom, but I will only accept Legacy students in my classroom.
