Please read the Information sheets Hope Charter School or Legacy Charter High School before completing an application. 

Your decision to apply to Hope Charter School or Legacy Charter High School should be an informative one.  They are "schools of choice" and may not be the best choice for every child.  Only Orange County residents are eligible to apply, and students entering Kindergarten must be 5 before September 1.

When you are filling out the registration forms, please remember that you must complete every section and must be accurate in all information provided.  Any information that is left out or is inaccurate can result in the application being voided.

Registration forms are valid only for the school year indicated on the forms.  You may not use them to apply for future years.  Waiting lists are determined by grade level.  If there are no openings available during the current school year, you must re-apply for the next school year.  Waiting lists do not carry over from one school year to the next. 

Open Enrollment every year is March 1 through March 7.  To be included in the lottery, applications must be received by the schools no later than the end of the work day on March 7.  Please print out the registration form, complete it and mail to the school, or drop off at the school office between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays.  Applications are not accepted through email and are not recommended for faxing.  The schools are not responsible for lost or corrupted information.   However, we do continue to accept applications to add to the existing waiting list until the following January.
